Development
The bridge between technical foundations and competitive play. Players sharpen speed of play, learn positions, and start to think the game.
What we focus on
Development sessions move faster and demand more. Players are coached on scanning, decision speed, and reading the game — then drop straight into competitive games where it gets tested. This is the level where club tryout prep really begins.
- • 90-minute sessions, twice weekly + optional Saturday game
- • Position introduction (defender, midfielder, attacker, GK)
- • Conditioned games every session

Common questions
Is this a club team?
No — Alpha Academy is supplemental training. We complement club, school, and rec teams without competing with them.
My player is already on a club team. Is this too much?
Most of our Development players are dual-rostered. Sessions are designed to add reps without overloading the calendar.
How do you prepare for tryouts?
A 4-week February–March block focuses on the exact skills clubs evaluate — first touch under pressure, 1v1s, and decision-making in tight spaces.
Do you offer GK-specific work?
Yes — goalkeeper-specific sessions can be added for any Development player.
